Optical Design Engineer
Resolve Optics is looking for an Optical Design Engineer to enhance our design team and help to drive it forward. You will need to work well in a team to ensure the best possible optical solutions can be presented to our customers.

Resolve Optics Ltd presents a rare opportunity for a designer to see their designs through from concept all the way through to protypes and beyond.

Design Software: (Zemax) OpticsStudio.

Your role

• Conferring with the Sales team to identify possible solutions to customer enquiries.
• Review specifications to ensure all points can either be met or exceeded.
• Produce optical designs that meet or exceed the agreed specification.
• Liaise with mechanical designer to ensure tolerancing and general mounting of elements is in accordance to the design.
• Develop test programs for new design for MTF testing.
• Depending on experience you may be required to drive designs and ensure the team is producing the best possible design solutions.
• Strong organizational talent and very good problem-solving skills
• Strong sense of responsibility and proactive approach
• Enthusiasm and teamwork skills as well as strong communication skills
