Recently Resolve Optics visited WNE 2025 – the world’s leading civil nuclear exhibition. At this well attended meeting we met with Camera Manufacturers and Systems Integrators to discuss their requirements for our next generation of radiation resistant lenses and optical systems. With recent advances in technology – CMOS sensors capable of withstanding higher levels of radiation are being developed to make them a viable option for a much larger range of nuclear applications. To take advantage of the higher resolution colour images provided by a CMOS sensor – Resolve Optics is looking to develop further High-Definition radiation resistant lenses optimised for the different formats that CMOS sensors are produced in.
