Design phase vibration and shock testing of optical systems that will be deployed in space is critical to ensure they survive launch and have a long operating life. Recently our vibration test centre was used by spaceborne video constellation specialists – Sen to conduct sine sweeps and random vibration testing on a 25kg satellite optical payload.
