Photonic Technologies Could Help Reduce Global Air Pollution PandemicAccording to a new study in Cardiovascular Research – air pollution is responsible for shortening people’s lives worldwide on a scale far greater than wars, other forms of violence and diseases such as malaria, HIV/AIDS, and smoking. Interestingly, research by SPECTARIS, the Fraunhofer Institute, TEMATYS, and Messe Munchen suggests that by 2030, Photonic Technologies could reduce worldwide Carbon Dioxide (CO2) emissions by 3 billion tons.
