Adapting an existing design has enabled Resolve Optics to quickly produce an optimised fixed focus non-browning lens for a leading nuclear systems integrator. The customer required a 16mm focal length radiation resistant lens which is not part of our standard range of fixed focus non browning lenses. An added requirement from the nuclear systems integrator was that they needed the lens to fit within a small footprint so they could use it without any modifications, in their existing radiation tolerant camera housing.
