A new report discusses how governmental desire to reduce CO2 concentrations in the atmosphere is a prime driver behind the steady growth in nuclear power plant capacity worldwide. Today there are about 440 nuclear power reactors operating in 32 countries supplying over 10% of the world’s electricity.
