Growth in applications for specialist lens systems ... Resolve Optics Ltd, a leading designer and supplier of specialist high performance lens systems, has announced a 15% increase in sales for the 12 months to December 2006 compared to the same period the year before.During 2006 the company introduced a new specialist lens designed to provide uncompromised performance with large image format remote head cameras, an innovative optical system capable of monitoring processes up to 950C without cooling plus several new additions to its comprehensive range of radiation resistant lenses. Considerable interest was also received from company's with space- restricted applications (e.g. Aircraft head-up display) that required compact, high performance zoom lenses. Reflecting on the latest figures - Mark Pontin (Sales Director) commented 'A key driver behind our growth has been that in order to fulfill the potential of technological advances in many industries the need for very high performance, high-resolution and large format lenses which meet the exact needs of customers has risen dramatically'.
